PITH Africa x BLUEPRINT
In partnership with PITH Africa, Blueprint facilitated the collective's first engagement outside Nigeria on the continent, marking a significant milestone in its expansion across the African continent. Held in Nairobi, Kenya, on the 16th May 2026, the program combined intimate knowledge sharing with a public-facing retail activation, creating opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange between Lagos and Nairobi's creative communities.

When the program commenced on May 15th, it was clear this wasn’t just another masterclass, it was a conversation about building identity, sustaining vision and navigating Africa’s evolving creative landscape. Hosted at The Canteen on Gedi Road, Lavington, the session brought together Nairobi’s creative community in an intimate setting led by PITH Africa founders Cosmas Ojemen, Nez Anazodo and Adedayo Laketu.
They spoke about their journey establishing PITH Africa as one of the continent’s leading contemporary design platforms. Drawing from lived experience, they emphasized that authenticity is not simply a brand value, it is the foundation of creative entrepreneurship. Whether expressed through product development, storytelling or collaboration, staying true to cultural roots was presented as the key to building relevance across markets. The dialogue was open and dynamic, encouraging participants to exchange ideas, ask questions and forge meaningful professional connections.

A recurring theme throughout the masterclass was the balance between independence and community. The founders reflected on the challenges of sustaining creative businesses while underscoring the importance of collective support, teams, collaborators and networks that believe in the mission and amplify its impact. Their stories reminded participants that success in design is rarely a solitary pursuit; it is powered by shared vision, trust and care.
The program came to an end on May 16th at Nairobi Street Kitchen, where PITH Africa held its first-ever international pop-up in Africa outside Lagos. In collaboration with Studio 18 , the activation transformed the venue into a vibrant hub for designers, collectors, artists and the wider creative community.

More than a retail experience, the pop-up served as a platform for cultural exchange, introducing audiences to PITH Africa's design philosophy while fostering conversations around contemporary African design, craftsmanship and creative collaboration. The successful activation demonstrated the growing potential for cross-border partnerships and reinforced Blueprint's commitment to connecting Africa's creative ecosystems through thoughtfully curated experiences.
